Justice & Liberation Institute
Are you a formerly incarcerated woman or the family member of someone that is incarcerated? Do you want to know how to build people power around the issues that impact the quality of your life?
The Justice and Liberation Institute is the place where we connect, train and develop formerly incarcerated and directly-impacted women as grassroots leaders. Through the program, participants help conduct our bail outs and ensure that Black mothers and their children are getting assistance for their immediate needs including housing and food. Participants also receive computer, internet and basic technology skills training and help navigating services and employment opportunities.
We are growing a grassroots network of empowered people and mutual aid led by and for formerly incarcerated Black women, their loved ones and supporters.
